Service Agreement

The terms of a seasonal membership: what we commit to, what you commit to, and how either side ends it.

Draft — not yet final

This document is awaiting review and sign-off. It is published here so it can be read and edited, and should not be relied on as the final agreement.

What a membership is

A membership is a commitment to a full season, not a series of individual visits. In exchange, your rate is fixed for that season regardless of how many times we come out.

Lawn season runs May 1 to October 31. Snow season runs November 1 to April 30. A year-round membership covers both.

What we commit to

For the season you have purchased:

  • A weekly mow on a fixed service day through the lawn season, weather and growth permitting
  • Automatic dispatch once accumulation reaches 2", without you needing to call
  • Return visits during storms that run long, as conditions require
  • Driveway markers set each fall and removed each spring
  • A text before and after each visit, and a weekly summary while the crew is out

What you commit to

  • Access to the property on service days, including a gate code where one applies
  • Telling us about anything fragile or hidden before the season starts — pavers, low walls, irrigation heads, septic lids, invisible fencing
  • Keeping vehicles clear of the driveway during the snow season so it can be cleared fully
  • A valid payment method on file for automatic billing

Billing

Seasonal rates are billed in equal monthly instalments across the season, charged automatically to the card on file. There are no per-visit or per-storm charges. Additional services requested mid-season are prorated across the remainder of the season.

Weather and growth

We do not mow dormant grass — cutting turf that has stopped growing damages it. During a drought the visit stays on the calendar and we trim and blow as needed. Your seasonal rate does not change, because the season is priced as a whole rather than per visit.

Likewise, a mild winter does not reduce your rate and a severe one does not increase it. That is the trade a flat seasonal rate makes in both directions.

If we miss a visit

If a scheduled visit does not happen and we did not notify you of the reason in advance, that visit is credited against your account. You do not need to file a claim; we track every service date on your property.

Ending or transferring a membership

If you sell the property, tell us the closing date. Service stops at the end of that service period and the unused portion of the season is refunded. If the buyer wants to continue, the membership transfers with the property from closing.

Insurance

We carry liability insurance for the work described here and can provide a certificate on request.
